Hi Will,I had the intention to send this mail last week, but since the entire workforce of Venso had been out of the office for a few days, work had kind of piled up back here in Sweden! But it was worth it many times over. You truly do live in a lovely part of the world, among lovely and friendly people. Even the Haggis was good (maybe not lovely, but good ;)
I just wanted to thank You for a well put together trip! It was I think the true highlight of the journey for most of us. And a very special thank´s to Simon. He had the perfect balance between humor and historical facts, and made everyone feel special and welcome. Be sure to thank him also for his assistance in getting the perfect gift for my colleague Martin who happened to have his birthday during the trip. That bottle and the fantastic distillery tour and testing certainly boosted the sales at Edradour that afternoon :)

I’m back in Copenhagen now after finishing our wonderful trip to Scotland.
My dad, brother and I could not have enjoyed ourselves more on our 3-day trip. As I’m sure you’ve heard from every guest that Marti has, he was simply fantastic. Great knowledge not only of the whiskies, but also of Scottish history, geology, languages... you name it. All the distilleries we visited were superb, and Val and Keith and their B&B in Grantown on Spey were also a highlight of the trip.
Thanks to you for your help in setting it all up, and for being so flexible and understanding when my dad’s mother passed away this past May when we’d originally planned to do the trip. As I mentioned before, the bottle of whiskey for him in honor of his 70th birthday was a remarkably classy touch... he’ll never forget it.
Needless to say, if we ever have a wish to do another Scottish tour (there may be a visit to Islay in my future :-), I’ll look you up again and I already have people at the US embassy here in Copenhagen where I work asking about the trip and how I did it... I’ll be sure to pass your name along.

A wonderful tour. Our guide David Ladd must be one of the most knowledgeable tour guides in Scotland. What he doesn't know about Scottish history and geology isn't worth knowing. Chris and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our Hebridean tour with Davy. He was a fantastic tour guide and really saved our trip when we were just ready to give up and go home. The whole tour was packed with wonderful sights and stories about Scotland. I've been telling everyone that it was a five day intensive study of the history, language, culture, geology, and geography of Scotland and it was great! All of our family and friends are jealous and want to book a tour now.

We just wanted to say "thanks" for your eclectic and most excellent whisky tour... that's the 4-day excursion departing Edinburgh/Glasgow for Islay. We loved the format of 2-3 distilleries per day, and transfers to and from Islay through the beautiful Scottish country side, including the ferry to the island. We really appreciated the informative lessons in Scottish culture and folklore, so aptly delivered by our guide's (Will) story-telling skills. We learned a lot about whisky and enjoyed the tour and tastings, including those among us who were not whisky afficianados.
This is all definitely 5-star in our book.

I spent a month in Scotland, and traveled through a lot of the countryside. The tour guide was brilliant, he took pride and joy in and was very enthusiastic about what he was talking about.
