All of our scheduled tours depart from the Scottish Routes check-in desk inside Caffè Nero, 1 Parliament Square, Royal Mile, Edinburgh, EH1 1RE.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow plenty of time for check-in and boarding. Our team will be on hand to welcome you and answer any last-minute questions before your tour begins.

Our departure point is approximately a 10-minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station and around 15 minutes from St Andrew Square Bus Station, making it easy to reach from most central Edinburgh hotels and transport hubs.

Ask your driver for Caffè Nero, 1 Parliament Square, Royal Mile, beside St Giles’ Cathedral.

Several local bus routes stop within a short walking distance of the departure point. The nearest stops are located on North Bridge and South Bridge, both just a few minutes away on foot.

There is no dedicated parking available at the departure point. We recommend travelling by foot, taxi or public transport wherever possible.
