Luss, Glengoyne & Deanston
One DayEnjoy a day exploring Stirlingshire and the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, featuring visits to a trio of renowned distilleries, and an opportunity to admire the beautiful scenery.

Your day on tour with collection from a location of your choice before travelling to the shores of Loch Lomond, the largest freshwater loch in Scotland, and home to some spectacular scenery. Your stop will be in the heritage village of Luss, where you will visit the Luss Distillery. Here you sample a selection of expressions from the nearby Loch Lomond distillery, or you can take a tour of the on-site Gin distillery, followed by a guided tasting.
You will then travel along the southern shore of Loch Lomond to visit Deanston Distillery. This traditional distillery opened in a converted cotton mill in the 1960’s, and takes a traditional approach to whisky production. As well as enjoying lunch at the on-site cafe, you will visit one of the Warehouses for a tasting of three Deanston expression’s direct from the cask.
The final stop on your tour would be a visit to the Glengoyne distillery, where whisky distillation has occurred for more than 200 years. The distillery sits in a unique location on the Highland Boundary Fault line, which marks the boundary between Scotland’s Highlands and Lowlands, a fact which is reflected in the flavour of Glengoyne. At Glengoyne, you will join a Fine and Rare Tasting, featuring a selection of highly aged and limited edition Glengoyne Drams.
You will then end your tour with us at a location of your choosing.
Lindores Abbey, Blair Athol & Aberfeldy
One DayRanging from a modern distillery on the site of the first recorded mention of Scottish Whisky, to some traditional distilleries in the beautiful landscapes of Highland Perthshire.

The day would begin with collection from an Edinburgh location of your choice, before travelling to the historic Kingdom of Fife. Here you will visit the Lindores Abbey distillery. Whilst this is one of the newer generation of distilleries, the site has a special place in Scotch Whisky, as Lindores Abbey is the site of the earliest recorded mention of Scotch Whisky Production. Here you will join a tour of the modern production facilities before a tasting of three drams.
You will then travel to the village of Pitlochry, one of the traditional gateways to the Highlands. Here you will have time to explore the village, and to have some lunch, before visiting the Blair Athol distillery, which sits just on the edge of the village centre. Here you will join an extensive tour of the production facilities, with a focus on the importance of Allt Dour, the distilleries water source. This is followed by a tasting session, featuring six Blair Athol expressions.
The tour will then take you further into the stunning scenery of Highland Perthshire for a third and final distillery visit of the day. This would be a visit to the Aberfeldy distillery for a tasting experience featuring a range of unusual and highly aged expressions from the Dewar’s and Aberfeldy collections.
You would then return to Edinburgh, where will drop you off at your accommodation or another location of your choosing.
Speyside & The Highlands

Admire Spectacular Highland Scenery:
Your driver-guide will take you north, into the beautiful mountains of the Cairngorms National Park, you will have the chance to admire the scenery as you drive through.
Warehouse Tasting in the heart of Royal Deeside:
Your first distillery visit of the tour would be a Warehouse Tasting at the Royal Lochnagar distillery. Here you will sample a selection of cask strength drams
Discover the influence of Sherry Casking:
Your journey will then take you through the rolling countryside of Aberdeenshire, as you make your way to the GlenDronach distillery. Here you will join a tour and tasting, with a focus on the exclusive use of Sherry Casks, and the impact on the GlenDronach’s flavour profile.
Stay at the Dowan’s Hotel:
For your two nights on tour with us, you would stay at the Dowan’s hotel in Aberlour, right in the heart of Speyside. You will spend your two nights in comfort, with excellent Scottish Fine Dining, and a bar with over 500 varieties of Whisky to choose from.

Following an excellent breakfast at the Dowan’s Hotel, your driver-guide will pick you up to begin your day exploring Speyside’s fabulous distilleries.
Cask Tasting at Glenlivet:
The first stop on day two of your tour will be a visit to one of the most iconic names in Speyside Whisky, Glenlivet. Here you will join a tour of the Warehouse facilities, before sampling a range of expression highlighting the influence of different cask types.
Visitor Centre Tasting at GlenAllachie:
As well as the regions big names, the Speyside region is also home to some smaller names that produce outstanding whisky. One such distillery is GlenAllachie, and here you enjoy a tasting in the visitor centre featuring some of their unique takes on traditional Speyside flavours.
Tasting at Aberlour:
The third and final distillery visit of the day would be a visit to another of the classic names of the Speyside regions, Aberlour. Here you would join a tasting of some unique expressions of Aberlour in the visitor centre.

Check-out from Dowan’s Hotel:
As your final day on tour with us begins, your driver-guide will collect you from the Dowan’s Hotel as you check out.
Warehouse Tasting at Cardhu:
The first stop of the day would be a visit to the Speyside home of Johnnie Walker, the Cardhu distillery. Here you will join a Warehouse Tasting sampling a range of cask strength drams.
Visit the village of Pitlochry:
After a scenic drive through some stunning Scottish Highland scenery you will visit the pretty village of Pitlochry in Highland Perthshire. Here you will be able to explore the shops, and sample some excellent Scottish produce.
One final distillery visit:
In the afternoon you will make your final distillery stop of the tour at the Aberfeldy distillery. Your will join a Drams of Your Dreams tasting, featuring a range of outstanding Aberfeldy and Dewar’s expressions.
Return to Edinburgh:
Your three day custom tour to Speyside would end with a drop-off at a location of your choice.

Travel through the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park:
In the morning of the first day of your tour with us you will travel through the beautiful scenery of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.
Cask Strength Tasting at Oban Distillery:
Your first distillery visit on tour with us will be a visit to the Oban distillery for a tasting in the historic filling store and Excise office. This tasting would feature a selection of cask strength Oban expressions. Following your time in Oban distillery, you would have time to explore the attractive seaside town, and enjoy some of the spectacular seafood, for which the town is renowned.
Neolithic History in Kilmartin Glen:
As you travel south along the Argyll coast you will pass through Kilmartin Glen. This fascinating area is home to some of the best preserved Neolithic sites in Scotland, and you would be able to make a stop to explore 4,000 years of history.
Journey to Islay:
In the late afternoon, you will take a ferry to Islay, allowing you to enjoy beautiful views across West Loch Tarbert, and to the islands of Jura & Gigha.
Stay at Another Place – The Machrie
Your base for your four nights on Islay would be Another Place – The Machrie. Guests can enjoy luxurious accommodation, fine dining, and a range of leisure facilities while taking in views of rolling dunes, rugged shoreline, and distant islands. The location provides a peaceful base for exploring Islay’s distilleries, beaches, and wildlife, making it a standout choice for a Scottish island itinerary.

Visitor Centre Tasting at Ardbeg:
Begin your day on Islay with a visit to the Ardbeg distillery, for a visitor centre tasting featuring a selection of heavily aged Ardbeg Expressions.
Whisky & Seafood with Bowmore Distillery:
In addition to spectacular whiskies, Islay is also home to some incredible seafood. You would be able to join a curated tasting of four specially selected Bowmore expression, partnered with some of the finest seafood available on the island.
A Modern Islay Experience:
Whilst whisky production on Islay was a long and rich history, there are still developments and innovations occurring to this day. This afternoon will see you visit the most recent operational addition to Islay’s list of distilleries, Ardnahoe. Here you will join a tour of the family owned distillery, and the modern approach to distillation. You will then visit the Warehouse at Ardnahoe, to sample a selection of cask drawn Ardnahoe Expressions.

A Distillery Reborn:
In 2024 one of the historic names in Islay Whisky production came back to life, as after a dormant period of over 40 years, distillation started again at the Port Ellen distillery. You would have a rare opportunity to tour the rebuilt production facilities, and to sample the new make spirit from the recreated stills. You would then visit one of the historic warehouses to sample directly from a 1979 cask produced by the original distillery, as well as the historic release of a 44 year old expression from Port Ellen.
Laphroaig:
The afternoon would see you visit the Laphroaig distillery for a Warehouse Tasting experience, featuring three unique cask strength expressions, and includes the chance to take 100ml bottle of your favourite to take away with you, allowing you to sample at your own leisure.

Championship Links at the Machrie:
In addition to providing a luxurious base from which to explore Islay’s distilleries, Another Place – The Machrie is also home a championship standard Golf Course, and was an award winner at the 2026 Scottish Golf Tourism awards. Here you can enjoy 18 holes of authentic links golf which provides a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all standards.
Distillery Exclusive at Lagavulin:
In the afternoon, you would travel along Islay’s southern coast to one of the most iconic distilleries on the Islay, Lagavulin. Here you would explore the production areas of the historic distillery, before joining a premium tasting, featuring unique Lagavulin bottlings, single cask samples and some new make spirit.

Return to the Scottish Mainland:
The day begins with a farewell to Islay, as you will board on a morning ferry which will take you back to the port of Kennacraig on the Scottish Mainland.
Visit Inveraray:
You will make a stop for lunch in the pretty village of Inveraray on the shores of Loch Fyne. Here you will be able to explore the village, visit the Castle which is the historic home of the Campbell Clan, and make some last minute whisky purchase at Loch Fyne Whiskies.
Explore the shores of Scotland’s largest Loch:
Your journey will then take you to the shores of Loch Lomond, and the heritage village of Luss. Here you will be able to explore the historic village, admire the views across the largest freshwater loch in Scotland, or visit the recently opened visitor centre at Luss Distillery.
End your tour in Edinburgh:
After your time exploring Islay and the West Highlands with us, your time on tour with us will end with a drop-off at a location of your choice in Edinburgh.
Orkney & The Far North
Six DaysTravel to the Far North of Scotland, to explore a lesser explored part of Scotland, which is home to some unique distilleries, with a range of styles.

Create Your Own Blended Whisky:
The first stop of your tour would be the Dewars Aberfeldy distillery in the heart of Highland Perthshire. Here you would learn about the process of creating a blended whisky, before having some time to create your own to take away with you.
Tour Scotland’s Highest Altitude Distillery:
You will then travel to the Dalwhinnie Distillery in heart of the Cairngorms National Park. The distillery lies of 350m above sea level, making it the highest in Scotland. Here you will join a tour of the production facilities, as well as sampling some drams from the Dalwhinnie Range.
Stay at the Dornoch Castle Hotel:
Your journey will then take you to Sutherland, in the Far North of the Scottish Highlands. You will be spend two nights at the Dornoch Castle Hotel. This historic building has parts which date back to the 15th century, and offers a character filled, comfortable base for two nights of your tour.

Balblair Distillery:
Your exploration of Sutherland’s distilleries will begin with a visit to the Balblair distillery for a tour of the production facilities, and a tasting experience, featuring a selection of Balblair expressions.
Glenmorangie Distillery:
In the afternoon, you would visit one the Glenmorangie distillery for a tasting experience. This would feature a visit to one of the Dunnage Warehouses, to sample selection of rare and exclusive Glenmorangie bottlings, which have been special selected to showcase some of the distilleries production highlights.

A coastal journey to the Far North:
Your driver-guide will pick you up from the Dornoch Castle Hotel, and you will travel to northernmost corner of the Scottish Mainland, Caithness. As you take the road north, you will be able to admire the stunning coastal views and dramatic landscapes of this remote region of Scotland.
Old Pulteney:
The first distillery visit will be to the Old Pulteney distillery in the fishing town of Wick. Here you will join a tour of production facilities and tasting experience, as you learn about the close relationship between the Old Pulteney distillery and the sea, and how that influences the final flavour profile that characterises Old Pulteney’s whiskies.
Wolfburn:
Later in the day, you will travel to the town of Thurso for a visit to another of northern Scotland’s excellent distilleries, Wolfburn. This modern distillery has brought whisky production back to the town, over 150 years after the original Wolfburn distillery ceased production. Here you will join a tour of the production facilities and premium tasting featuring a wide selection of Wolfburn expressions, including some limited edition releases.
Beyond the North Coast:
Your tour would continue with an evening ferry to travel to Orkney. Take the opportunity to see if you can spot any of the incredible local wildlife on your journey, as well as taking in the views across the Pentland Firth.
Kirkwall Hotel:
After arriving on Orkney, you would travel to the Kirkwall Hotel, which will be your overnight base for your two nights on Orkney. This traditional hotel sits in the heart of the town, and has excellent views across the harbour.

Highland Park:
Your day would begin with a visit to the Highland Park distillery in the heart of Kirkwall. Here you will join a tour of the production facilities, which combine new technology and traditional techniques to produce the characteristic flavours of Highland Park. This will be followed by a tasting experience
Scapa:
In the afternoon, you would to the scenic Scapa distillery, which overlooks the attractive bay that gives the distillery its name. You will take a tour of the distillery, which is one very few distilleries across Scotland which is entirely manually operated. You will then join a tasting over a selection of Scapa expressions in the Noust Tasting Room, which has incredible views across the bay.

Return to the Mainland:
The day would begin with a leisurely start in Kirkwall, before returning to the Scottish Mainland via a ferry journey from St Margaret’s Hope.
8 Doors Distillery
On arrival on the Scottish Mainland, you will travel to the northernmost village on the Scottish Mainland, John O’Groats to visit the 8 Doors Distillery for a tasting experience.
Shores of Loch Ness
You will then travel south along the northeastern coast of Scotland, before travelling through the Great Glen. This will give you the opportunity to admire the shores of the world famous Loch Ness before arriving at your overnight accommodation.
The Lovat Hotel
The final overnight stop of your tour would be at the Lovat Hotel in the village of Fort Augustus, and is just a short walk from the shores of Loch Ness. You will be able to enjoy the historic surroundings and fabulous food for a relaxing final evening of you tour with us.

Glen Coe:
The sixth and final day of the tour will begin with a journey south through the Great Glen, the spectacular valley which cuts through the the heart of the Scottish Highlands. You will make your wat to Glen Coe, an ancient volcanic landscape which is home to some of the most iconic and dramatic scenery anywhere in Scotland. In addition to admiring the beautiful views, you will also be able to learn more about the areas tragic history.Deanston:
You will make you final distillery of your tour on the afternoon of this last day of your tour. This will be a tasting in the Warehouse at the Deanston Distillery in Stirlingshire.
Return to Edinburgh:
Your tour with us will end with a drop-off at an Edinburgh location of your choice.
